You are not required to file an answer or other pleading but you may do so if you desire.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE
Whereas, the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Ackerman, Mississippi on February 3, 2022 adopted an ordinance annexing additional areas of territory, and
Whereas, by statute the town may publish a brief synopsis of the ordinance, and post the full ordinance in the three public places within the town,
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordered by the Board of Aldermen of Ackerman, Mississippi as follows:
1. That the Clerk post copies of the annexation ordinance at Town Hall, the Choctaw County Library, and the Choctaw County Courthouse.
2. That said ordinance provides for the annexation of additional territory.
3. That said ordinance shall be effective 30 days after the first publication of this ordinance.
