Year in and year out the Maben Public Library gets a new look according to the season: now it is Christmas season.
The wall of windows between the split levels always has wall hangings of beautifully decorated boards promoting seasonal motifs: trees, snowmen, Santa Clauses, wreathes wherever we can hang one, gnomes, silver and red ornaments for the tree, silver bells, and reindeer decorating windows, cabinets and shelves.
The public is invited to come for a look-see through the window or come inside the building, chat a while, check out a book and fellowship with the local patrons.
The Maben Public Library is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
