In today’s edition of each of our newspapers, you will find a copy of our At Home magazine. This is an annual guide created for newcomers, visitors, and locals. If you can recall previous editions, you will notice that we have enhanced this publication. We are now covering information across Webster, Choctaw, and Winston counties all rolled into one magazine: At Home in the Red Hills. Some 10,000 copies of this magazine will be distributed all over our great state of Mississippi, starting right here in our very own newspapers. Anyone can pick up a copy at one of several locations across our three neighboring counties, while our extended reach for distribution includes all Mississippi Welcome Centers. When I reflect on each quaint little community, town, and city within our Red Hills area, I am overcome with a tremendous sense of pride! Winston County has been my home since I was a young child, and I’ve been firmly and fondly rooted here ever since. Over the last several years, I’ve seen each of these three counties grow and prepare for the future. I know they will continue doing so, while keeping that small town vibe we all love so much! I truly hope you will cherish At Home in the Red Hills and what it has to offer, sharing it with other persons and businesses you want to encourage to put down roots here in Mississippi, hopefully in one of our counties.
