Litter can become an unmanagable problem if not addressed.
Therefore, I encourage everyone not to litter and to pickup litter when you see it.
Picking up litter with your children is a great activity to teach multiple lessons to your children.
It is a fun, simple, free activity that can have instant results for children and the community.
It is great excercise, it immediately improves the community, it teaches work ethic, teaches responsiblity and teaches children not to litter.
It can be as easy as picking up litter near the road at your home or talk to town leaders or county supervisors and discover where the greatest impact of litter cleanup could be done.
If cleaning near roadways or water ways, do be careful and make sure any children are a safe distance from roads or water.
