Ramblin’ with Arlene Praise the Lord everyone. It is so good to be alive and still able to go to church and take care of things at home. At my age, you slow down a lot and sometimes you wonder if you’ll ever catch up. My cousin, Debra Eaves, has been helping me with a lot of my yard work and it’s looking alot better around here. Have you ever given thought to how many beautiful flowers God created? I have, but I’ve never had so many different ones in my yard until Debra started helping me transplant some we found and some be bought. I’m sure God likes for us to respond to how beautiful his creations are. I’ve really given some thought here lately to how good God has really been to us since the beginning of time. I believe everything he created was for our good. But, yet if you go back in the Old Testament and read about how people betrayed him after all he had done for him, it makes me so sad to think of how disappointed Jesus must have been. I’ve wondered if God had it to do over again, would he even bother to create Adam and Eve. Some people just tear down your desire to even try to help them. However, the word of God instructs us to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. That means everybody. But I do believe if you try to help and it doesn’t work out, you have every right to walk away. There are alot of people I know who are a lot smarter than me, but that doesn’t bother me. Let me tell you why, “Because I know where my real help is. That’s why I want to walk in the path God showed me a long time ago.” He convicted me of my sins and I went before the altar and repented and received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. It’s an experience you will never forget. There’s nothing you could ever obtain on this Earth that will make you feel better than drawing closer to God. I hope I can encourage you to find you a church and make God a part of your everyday life. I promise you that you won’t ever regret it. It’s like the beautiful flowers, he will take a life full of trouble and make it beautiful. Well I’ve got to go and cook supper. As I’ve said many times before, if you don't have a church to go to we would like to welcome you to River of Life Church on Redd street and McCully ave in Louisville, MS. Everyone is welcome and will be treated with the utmost respect. We love people and will do all we can to encourage you and help you.
