Rambling with Mrs. Arlene
Praise the Lord everyone. I hope this finds everyone doing okay. You’re blessed if you haven’t been blown away or washed away. It’s flooding up in Muscle Shoals, Alabama where my granddaughter loves. I mean serious flooding. The tornado that hit Columbus did a lot of damage to a lot of people. I feel so bad for them all and for their losses. But if they are still alive they can be thankful. God is so good and he loves us. I really believe all of this is a sign that God is soon to return to this Earth to claim his bride, just like the Bible says.
If you are reading this and you are a person who is use to going to church, then you know how it is to ask people who don’t go to church anymore to come and visit your church. Do they come? Hardly any of them come. People have forgot God. Many who once went to church have turned away from him and they hardly ever come, if at all. After all that God has did for us, you’d think we could give him more consideration. I know I fail God miserably sometimes, but I am trying to change my ways. I stay so busy and I still can’t keep up. One day I was so aggravated and the Lord just spoke into my mind and said, “Put me first and everything else will fall into place.” Still I didn’t listen. I haven’t been reading and studying my Bible like I should. I haven’t been visiting people like I should. I haven’t been talking to God, one on one, like I should. I pray all day sometimes saying, “Thank you God, or please bless this grandchild or heal someone or provide for someone. But I miss getting in my prayer closet just God and me. Please take time for God. Don’t let the devil steal your victory. We love you all and pray God’s blessings on you.
I have a prayer request for everyone who will pray about it. You all know Alan Sibley. He has a band and plays bluegrass music. His dad has been real sick. Please help us pray that God will strengthen Mr. Sibley and heal his body. Cana you do that? It will be appreciated. Take care. Catch you all next week. Love to all. Call me at 662-724-4691 or write me at 40 West Alice Street, Noxapater, MS 39346 if I can pray for you.
