Teachers are still valued
This is a letter I (Ivy Kennedy) received recently:
I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you for getting my son prepared for kindergarten. He has been doing awesome! He has made perfect 100s on everything. He has not gotten in trouble and has received Charger bucks every week for his behavior. He knows all his letters, numbers 1-100, 2d and 3d shapes, 36 sight words, his colors and he knows how to spell five of his colors! I know that head start doesn't get the recognition that you guys deserve but I appreciate y'all so much.

Parking lot
Can anything be done about parking beside the post office? I don’t know who owns the lot next door, but it sure would be nice to be able to park there, except for the pot holes. If it was mine, I would donate the use of it to the city or post office. I would also fill the pot holes as a community service - free.
I hope something can be done, especially since there is not ample parking at the post office.
