Rambling
Praise the Lord everyone. I great you in the Name of Jesus and pray that all is well with anyone who is reading this. Some one was telling me we will have two more cold spells in April. I will be glad when spring is here to stay. I nearly freeze in winter and stay cold in the summer. But God is good and gives us sense to dress so we will be comfortable.
Last week, we talked about not slacking off on our Bible reading and one on one time with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It’s easy to say tomorrow I’ll read, study, and pray. But sometimes it seems like tomorrow never comes. How will be stand before our Lord and explain to him why we didn’t make time for him. The written word of God is God. When we are reading and studying, we are partaking of his body. When we are praying, we are talking to our savior and know that if we have faith and believe in God’s will can bring us through things no matter what, we will see God work. He loves us and wants what is best for us. Don’t ever think that God will desert you and leave you stranded. All you have to do is reach out and leave the rest to God. It will be the best journey you have ever had.
I look back at all of the times I’ve called on Jesus when I had troubles. Then when things got better, I sometimes pushed God to the back burner. But, we should never do that no matter how busy we are. God’s grace and mercy will not strive with us forever. After awhile he will let us believe a lie and be damned. It’s a dangerous place to be in.
I just want to see us build up in God and give the devil a black eye. He is out to kill and destroy all of God’s children. We cannot allow this to happen. Just get your Bible and read a little a day and pretty soon you won’t want to put your Bible down. It’s amazing what a good feeling it is to be able to apply the word to different situations. It will give you a peace of mind like you’ve never known.
