Rambling with Arlene
Praise the Lord everyone. I hope you are all well and looking forward to the on coming birthday of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is truly a wonderful time of year. It seems like God is just everywhere you turn. All the lights and decorations are out. We are reminded of what the season is all about.
How about the other eleven months of the year? Do we have to be able to see something that reminds of us God to remember he is real and he is here with us. Maybe we only remember him when we have a need that no one can take care of except God himself. We stay so busy and forget, or let me say I, sometimes get wrapped up in everyday things and God gets pushed to the side. But I can truthfully say in the back of my mind, God is always present.
The Bible teaches us that God can do anything. He is there for us when we need him. He’s there when everything is going just fine. If you will find you a quiet place to pray and just be still and concentrate on our Lord and savior, you will feel the presence of the almighty God surround you and that presence of God that is inside you is lifted up to him and you feel so good. It’s like looking at the pretty white clouds floating in the sky and you feel like you make it up there and you’re just floating around in the presence of God. Oh my, how wonderful it is.
Well I guess it’s time a close out. God hasn’t put nothing else in my head. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. But I ask you not to forget the reason for the season.
