Rambling with Mrs. Arlene
Praise the Lord everyone. My what a mighty God we serve. He promised us that no matter what happened, he’d never leave nor forsake us. He said he would always make a way where there seems to be no way. Why do we worry and fret when things get tough? Do we really believe God’s word is true? If we do really believe, we should be able to face hard times knowing all will be well because our God said if we would live for him; he’d always make a way.
Well, I am a witness that God came through for Joe and I. Joe has been really down, but lately he seems to be a lot better. I had surgery on my spine on July 11, 2019. I was in the hospital for a week then swing bed in Louisville for 3 weeks. It’s a beautiful, comfortable place to stay if you’re sick, and they take really good care of you. They thought I’d be there 8 weeks, but God and exercise therapy got me up and out in 3 weeks. All my little children started kindergarten this year. So for a month, I didn’t have any baby to hug and I really missed them. But my bills got paid anyway. God is good and faithful. I now have 2 babies I am keeping and one of them is my great-grandson. I have three more openings if any of you need a baby sitter.
I know this is a lot different from what God usually gives me. So many people have called and some even came by to see what happened to the Rambling article. Well I got down so bad with my spine closed off at the back of my neck until I couldn’t stand up at all or move my feet or hands. I couldn’t lift my arms so Dr. Kurr operated on me and fixed my spine. The devil got so mad. How do I know?? Let me tell you how. They put a vice on my head to hold me steady during surgery. The thing broke and swung around a cut a gash from the top of my head in a circle back to my ear. It took 12 clamps to put it back right before they could even do the surgery. They called it an accident; I called it the work of the devil. This article I hope will show you all what God can and will do. The devil can’t win when God is involved in our lives.
I send my love and best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving. May God bless you all. No matter what your situation, if you will just believe God and pray and do his will always, then you need to never worry. Just put things in God’s hands. He will come through for you.
