Rambling with Mrs. Arlene Praise the Lord everyone. I pray that all my readers are doing everything that you can to stay safe. These are some dangerous times we are going through. They showed on TV that even our children are coming down with some kind of virus that the doctors think is related to the coronavirus. Some have died from it. I know what it is like to lose a child. Our son Devon was our youngest, and he died from a brain tumor. He left a wife and three children. Giving up your child at any age is a very hard thing to take. But God is still God and he knows what is best. If you will trust him, he will get you through anything that you have to face. How people wake up and go through day after day and never give God a thought or bother to go to a church of their choice to learn about God, I will never know. Some people go to church for years and then all of the sudden, they just turn their back on God and walk away from him. I’ve seen them eventually go back, and I’ve seen them out in the world like God never existed to them. I’ve tried to talk to some of them and begged them to get back in church while they could. They would say they might come and visit our church and they never did. I’ve seen some die without ever going back. When I first got in church and God filled me with the Holy Ghost, my husband and I were traveling a lot. It was hard changing churches so much and moving to the next job. So I quit going and taking our children for 8 months. I was miserable. Finally, we moved and there was a new couple who were Pentecostals who came to our crew. She and I found a church and started going. I’ve never turned my back on God since then. America it’s time we wake up!!! There is something going on. It could be the beginning of the end. There has been such a falling away for people going to church. I’m talking about people I never would have believed would turn their backs on God and walk away. It’s a scary thing when you really get to looking around at what is happening. We had all better be getting ready to bend our knees in prayer and ask God for guidance. We need to get our Bible and read every day and call on God to draw us closer than we’ve ever been. We have no way to really know how bad it will be. The end time is drawing near. I’m asking God for guidance, wisdom, and understanding. You’re welcome to visit our church on the corner of Red Street and McCully Ave in Louisville, MS. The pastor is Bro. Eddie Agnew and the assistant pastor is Bro. Dwayne Barrett. God bless you all. Call me at 662-803-4690 or write me at 40 West Alice Street, Noxapater, MS 39346. I’d love to hear from you and see what you think. With love in the Lord, Arlene Barrett.
