ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SUPPLIES
COMMENCING ON JULY 1, 2020 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2021
The City of Louisville will receive sealed, plainly marked and identified competitive bids to be filed with the City Clerk at the City Hall, 2373 South Church Avenue, in Louisville, Mississippi until ten o’clock (10:00) A.M., Thursday, June 11, 2019 proposing to furnish the City of Louisville with all its requirements as determined by the Board of Aldermen in the following classifications:
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, POSTS, AND TRAFFIC STRIPING (PAINT AND THERMOPLASTIC) IN PLACE; HDPE CULVERT; FURNISHING AND HAULING GRAVEL (#1 ROAD AND OVERSIZED)(PER TON); FURNISHING AND HAULING CRUSHED STONE (ALL SIZES) (PER TON); FURNISHING, LOADING AND HAULING SAND TOPPING (PER TON); ASPHALT COLD MIX (PER TON)(F.O.B. PLANT); ASPHALT HOT MIX (PER TON)(BOTH PICKED UP AT PLANT AND PUT IN PLACE); LIQUID ASPHALT (CRS-2); READY MIX CONCRETE (3000 PSI AND 4000 PSI); INSECTICIDE; HERBICIDE (PER GALLON); ROADSIDE SPRAYING (PER ACRE)(STATE PROPOSED PRODUCT AND CONCENTRATION PER ACRE), AND DITCH SPRAYING (PER ACRE OR PER LINEAR FOOT); GREASE, ENGINE OIL, HYDRAULIC OIL; GASOLINE, DIESEL FUEL (BOTH BULK AND AT PUMP)(FUEL MUST BE AVAILABLE SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK, MINIMUM TWELVE HOURS PER DAY); EQUIPMENT RENTAL (HOURLY RATE INCLUDING OPERATOR, FUEL AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE) (STATE TYPE, SIZE, CAPACITY).
Bids on hauling and equipment rental must include certificates of insurance-workmen’s compensation, $1,000,000 minimum general liability.
All bid quotations shall be per unit and shall be complete, requiring no further calculations to determine price. All bid quotations shall be net of all discounts, except early payment discounts.
All bids shall be submitted to the City Clerk, City Hall, 2373 South Church Avenue, or P.O. Box 510, Louisville, Mississippi 39339. All bids must be signed by bidder. Bids will be publicly opened at ten o’clock (10:00) A. M. or shortly thereafter on Thursday, June 11, 2019 in the Louisville City Hall.
All bids shall contain an affirmation that the prices quoted therein do not exceed the State Bid Price or that said quoted prices do not exceed the manufacturer’s suggested wholesale prices if the articles are not such as have a State Bid Price.
Prices shall be f.o.b. Louisville, Mississippi, unless otherwise stated and must include any pre-delivery and/or set-up charges, title and inspection where applicable.
The City of Louisville reserves the right to determine which is the lowest and best bid and to accept or reject any and all bids or any part of any bid based on that determination.
Bidders shall agree to all provisions set forth above and agree to deliver those items on which he is the awarded bidder, in accordance with these instructions.

You have been made a Defendant in the suit filed in this Court by Robert Beck, Jr., Administrator of the Estate of Franklin Turner, deceased. Plaintiff seeking to
Authority to pay expenses, disburse funds and assets for final discharge and release of Administrator, and to close estate.
You are summonsed to appear and defend against said petition in this action at 9:00 o'clock A.M. on the 1st day of July, 2020, in the Chancery Courtroom of Winston County at Louisville, Mississippi, and in case of your failure to appear and defend judgment will be entered against you for the money or other things demanded in the petition.
You are not required to file an answer or other pleading but you may do so if you desire.
