You are summoned to appear and defend against the complaint or petition filed against you in this action at 9:00 A.M. on the 12thth day of January, 2021, in the courtroom of the Choctaw County Chancery Courthouse in Ackerman, Mississippi, and in case of your failure to appear and defend a judgment will be entered against you for the money or other things demanded in the complaint or petition.

WHEREAS, on the 30th day of March, 2006, Dwight Robinson, Married & Tersia Robinson, Married, executed and delivered a certain Deed of Trust unto W. Stewart Robison, Trustee for Jim Walter Homes, Inc., Beneficiary, to secure an indebtedness therein described, which Deed of Trust is recorded in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Choctaw County, Mississippi in Land Mortgage Book 171 at Page 759; and
WHEREAS, by various assignments on record said Deed of Trust was ultimately assigned to The Bank of New York Mellon, as Indenture Trustee, for Mid-State Capital Corporation 2006-1 Trust by instrument recorded in the office of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk in Land Mortgage Book 226 at Page 19; and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of October, 2020 the Holder of said Deed of Trust substituted and appointed Dean Morris, LLC as Substitute Trustee by instrument recorded in the office of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk in Land Deed Book 230 at Page 601; and

Notice is hereby given by the Board of Supervisors, Choctaw County, Ackerman, Mississippi, that it will receive sealed bids until the hour of 10:00 A.M., January 4, 2021, for the sale to the county, certain supplies, commodities, goods, and services over a period of 12 months beginning January 4, 2021. Bids must be submitted as term bids according to estimated quantities as follows:
ROAD GRAVEL: 18,000 yards per year, No. 1 or equivalent, free of mud and foreign matter. FOB vendor plant and/or FOB jobsite within Choctaw County Mississippi.
CULVERTS: All sizes of virgin plastic and metal pipe, FOB district barns or work sites, price per foot including delivery cost. Maximum lengths must be quoted in bid.
LIME ROCK: Rip Wrap all sizes, crush and run, sizes 57, 7, and 89 FOB vendor yard.
The Board intends to accept the lowest and best bids but reserves the right to reject any and or all bids. Site and conditions of site for pickup will be stated in quote by bidder. Ease of pickup and stress on county equipment involved in pickup will be considered in total cost of product.

Main St., PO Box 398, Ackerman, MS on or before Wednesday February 3, 2021 at 10:00AM. Bids will be opened and read at that time. Award of bid will be announced once all bids are opened and reviewed. The Choctaw County School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Industrial Building Roof Replacement will be received by the President and Board of Supervisors of the Choctaw County Board of Supervisors, at the offices of Choctaw County Board of Supervisors located at 22 East Quinn Street, P.O. Box 250, Ackerman, MS 39735, until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021. The Bids received will be publicly opened and read on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. The Project consists of constructing Industrial Building Roof Replacement.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis, with additive and/or deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Calvert-Spradling Engineers, Inc.; 7085 Highway 45 North Alternate, P.O. Drawer 1078; West Point, MS 39773. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays during regular business hours, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, materials and/or supply needs. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Calvert-Spradling Engineers, Inc. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on January 15, 2021 at the Project Site. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
