WINSTON COUNTY MISSISSIPPI NOTICE FOR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT CONSULTING PROPOSALS:
Winston County will receive Proposals from qualified Emergency Management Consultants for Grant Management, Project Management, and Category Z Assistance until 12:00 noon on March 29, 2024. Projects may include Management Services for a FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant for Saferooms, Project Oversite, and FEMA Reimbursements conforming to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Guidelines. The Proposal may be mailed or hand delivered to Winston County, Attn: Chancery Clerk at P.O. Drawer 69, Louisville, MS 39339.
The Proposal shall include the Project Managers qualifications, experience with Hazard Mitigation projects, experience with Federal Disaster Declarations and knowledge of Federal and State Grant Guidelines, experience of the Firm, and capacity for performance. Qualified firms must have knowledge and experience with FEMA Hazard Mitigation Projects, closeout procedures, and have experience working with local governments in a federally declared disaster. Firm should submit three (3) copies of their proposal for consideration. Each Proposal must be received in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside of the envelope with the word "PROPOSAL" and the name of the Project, "EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT CONSULTING. Bids are due by March 29, 2024.
Responders must provide current General Liability, Professional Errors and Omissions, and Mississippi Workers Comp Insurance status and maintain the Insurance throughout the duration of the project.
