This is an ordinance rezoning the hereinafter described property from A-1 Agricultural purposes to B-2 Commercial District purposes. Whereas the Board of Aldermen considered to rezone the hereinafter described property located at 144 Vance Street and owned by James Quay Eaves, from A-1 Agricultural purposes to B-2 Commercial District purposes; and Whereas, Notice was duly and legally given to all property owners and citizens interested of a meeting held at City Hall at 6:00 o’clock p.m. on the 30th day of November, 2021, to hear objections and protests against said change, and no objections being noted, the Zoning and Planning Board concurred with the petitioner that a change to B-2 purposes will be proper and beneficial, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE HONORABLE BOARD AND MAYOR OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, MISSISSIPPI TO WIT: Section 1, That the following described property, having a street address of 144 Vance Street, Louisville, Mississippi, and being described as follows: Commencing at iron pin located on the Southwest corner of the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 32, Township15 North, Range 12 East of Winston County, Mississippi; thence North 845.91’ to the POINT OF BEGINNING of herein described property conveyed to James Quay Eaves by Warranty Deed recorded in the Warranty Deed Book 315, Page 79 and also part of the property conveyed to James Quay Eaves by Warranty Deed recorded in the Warranty Deed Book 361, Page 761 and also the remaining 1 acre lot conveyed to James Quay Eaves by Robert Eaves in September, 2021, in which the Warranty Deed Book Number and Page Number have not been given at this time; thence North 471.70’ to an iron pin located on the south right of way line of Vance Street; thence S89⁰03’50”E 183.11’ along said south right of way line to an iron pin; thence S00⁰42’00”E 468.74 to an iron pin; thence West185.82’ to an iron pin; thence continue West 3.00’ to the POINT OF BEGINNING; being 2.00 acres, more or less, and a part of the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 32, Township15 North, Range 12 East of Winston County, Mississippi.
The described property above includes two separate parcel numbers: 151293204 0100300 and 151293204 0100101. Section 2. That for cause, this Ordinance shall be effective on and after this date. Whereas, the following, Lorenzo Rush, 1400 Deer Run Rd., Louisville MS 39339 has defaulted on the payment of rent for storage of personal property at Stall #2 of Short Stop Mini Storage. Notice is hereby given that the personal property and items stored in Stall #2 will be sold on January 24, 2022, at 9:00 A.M. at Short Stop Mini Storage site located at 104 North Spring Ave., Louisville, Mississippi. The personal property stored therein will be sold to satisfy the rent and all expenses, and will be sold to the highest bidder, with Short Stop Mini Storage having the right to reject any and all bids.
