Webster County, MS is seeking un-priced technical proposals for:
New Semi Tractor Truck
The deadline for receipt of unpriced technical proposals is 2:00 PM CST on January 4, 2024.
Interested bidders can download bid documents online at www.webstercountymsbids.com. Unpriced responses shall also be submitted electronically at this site.
This bid will be handled through reverse auction. Vendors shall submit unpriced responses per the bid documents. Responses will be evaluated for potential acceptability based on pre determined criteria. Bidders whose technical proposals are determined acceptable will be invited to provide priced bids for consideration through the online reverse auction, which will take place on January 11, 2024, at 10:00 am CST. Complete instructions regarding the unpriced response and reverse auction are provided in the specifications package. Prices will only be accepted through the online reverse auction per the bid documents.
Specifications and detailed instructions regarding the bid process may be obtained by visiting the website www.webstercountymsbids.com. Specification response forms and all other required information detailed in the bid instructions should be submitted no later than 2:00 PM CST on January 4, 2024. Un-priced Specification Response submissions will be evaluated, and vendors meeting the required specifications will be invited to participate in the Electronic Reverse Auction process on January 11, 2024, at 10:00 am CST. Vendors approved to participate in the reverse auction process will be given detailed instructions regarding the reverse auction once the responses are reviewed. Webster reserves the right to extend the auction date if necessary to complete the pre-qualification process.

Webster County reserves the right to reject any and or all bids, waive technicalities, informalities, or irregularities in the bids received, solicit new bids, or choose that bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the county. The Bidder shall be responsible for and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Webster County from all losses, damages, expenses, claims, demands, suits, and actions brought by any party against Webster County as a result of the Bidder's failure to comply with the provisions above.

On December 4, 2023, the Board of Alderman of Mantee, Mississippi, passed Ordinance #2401, Mobile Food Vending Ordinance. This ordinance provides guidelines for the operation of mobile food trucks within the town limits of Mantee, Mississippi, throughout the year. In summary, food trucks will be allowed to operate in the parking lot north of the Mantee Depot or on private property (with written permission from the property owner) between the hours of 6 AM and 9 PM any day of the year, except during town-appointed special events, and will be required to submit the specified paperwork and a $25 annual fee.
