OF INVITATION FOR BIDS
FOR HUNTING AND FISHING RIGHTS
Notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of the Webster County School District that sealed bids will be received by said Board until 10:00 A.M. on the 13th day of June, 2022, in the office of the Superintendent of Education of the Webster County School District, located at 95 Clark Avenue, Eupora, MS 39744, for a lease of hunting and fishing rights on the following described Sixteenth Section Public School Trust Lands situated in Webster County, Mississippi, to-wit:
Section 16, Township 20N, Range 9E approximately 635 acres
Section 16, Township 20N, Range 10E approximately 504 acres
Bids submitted will be opened at 10:00 A.M., or as soon thereafter as conveniently possible, on the 13th day of June, 2022. The lease shall be for a term of three (3) years. The form of the lease has been prescribed by the Board of Education and is now on file in the Office of the Superintendent of Education, and interested parties may inspect the same during regular office hours. A MINIMUM BID OF $4.00 PER ACRE HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED. LESSEE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAYMENT OF ALL TAXES ON LEASED LAND.
Bids shall be submitted for the entire parcel. Only the annual rental shall be subject to bid. A certified check for the amount of the annual rental should be included with the bid when submitted. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Board of Education of the Webster County School District and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope “BID FOR HUNTING AND FISHING LEASE on approximately ____ acres in Section ____, Township ____, Range ____.” Individuals who have current hunting and fishing leases on the sections listed above will have the option to match any new higher bid in order to retain the lease for another 3 years. The Board of Education of Webster County School District will meet at Eupora, Mississippi on the 13th day of June, 2022, at 6:00 P.M. and sealed bids received pursuant to this public notice will be subject to approval. The Board of Education of the Webster County School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted, but if any bids are accepted, it will be in the manner prescribed by law.
The aforesaid land is being offered for lease under the provisions of Section 29-3-41 of the Mississippi Code Annotated (1972) as amended. Ordered by the Board of Education of the Webster County School District this the 11th day of April, 2022.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS
Webster County, MS is seeking un-priced technical proposals for:
(1) New Bituminous Distributor
Deadline for receipt of un-priced technical proposals is June 7, 2022 by 2:00 PM, local time. Interested bidders can download bid documents online at www.webstercountymsbids.com. Un priced responses shall also be submitted electronically at this site.
This bid will be handled through reverse auction. Vendors shall submit un-priced responses per the bid documents. Responses will be evaluated for potential acceptability based upon pre determined criteria. Bidders whose technical proposals are determined acceptable will be invited to provide priced bids for consideration through the online reverse auction, which will take place on June 14, 2022 at 10:00 am, local time. Complete instructions regarding the un priced response and reverse auction are provided in the specifications package. Prices will only be accepted through the online reverse auction per the bid documents.
Specifications and detailed instructions regarding the bid process may be obtained by visiting the website www.webstercountymsbids.com. Specification response forms, along with all other required information detailed in the bid instructions should be submitted no later than June 7, 2022 by 2:00 PM. Un-priced Specification Response submissions will be evaluated, and vendors meeting the required specifications will be invited to participate in the Electronic Reverse Auction process on June 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Vendors approved to participate in the reverse auction process will be given detailed instructions regarding the reverse auction once the responses are reviewed. Webster reserves the right to extend the auction date if necessary to complete the pre-qualification process.

Bids should be submitted to Eupora City Hall at 390 Clark Avenue, Eupora, MS 39744 by noon, June 3, 2022. Additional information may be obtained by contacting the Park Director at (662) 552-8400. Within the limitations of state law, the City of Eupora reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the City of Eupora.
