SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE SALE
WHEREAS, on October 15, 1999, Lillian J. Griffin executed a certain deed of trust to Judy McMillian, Trustee for the use and benefit of First Family Financial Services Inc. which deed of trust is of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Webster, County, state of Mississippi, on October 15, 1999, in Book 181, Page 126.
WHEREAS, CitiMortgage, Inc., the current holder and/or assignee, substituted Halliday, Watkins & Mann, P.C. as Trustee by instrument recorded in the Chancery Clerk’s Office on February 6, 2023 in Book DT 2023, in Page 57; and
WHEREAS, Default having been made in the terms and conditions of said deed of trust and the entire debt secured thereby having been declared to be due and payable in accordance with the terms of said deed of trust, CitiMortgage, Inc., the legal holder of said indebtedness, having requested the undersigned Substitute Trustee in said deed of trust, will on March 29, 2023 offer for sale at public outcry and sell within legal hours (being between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.), at the main entrance of the Webster County Courthouse in Walthall, Mississippi, to the highest and best bidder for cash the following described property situated in Webster County, Mississippi, to wit:
A parcel of land located West of the Public Road in the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 4, Township 19 North, Range 10 East, described as - Beginning at the Northwest Corner of the said SE ¼ of the NE ¼ of said Section 4, and running thence South 115 feet to an iron stake on the Curtis Simons fence line which is the Point of Beginning for the Lot herein described; thence South along the Curtis Simons fence line 115 feet to an iron stake on the said fence line; thence East 525 feet along the North Line of the property of Jake Johnson to an iron stake on the West boundary of the Public Road; thence North along the West boundary of said road 115 feet to an iron stake on the West boundary of said road; thence West 525 feet to the point of Beginning.

The Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery Committee will accept sealed bids until 5:00 pm, Friday, March 24, 2023, for the following combined services: grass cutting, weed-eating, and grave maintenance. This will be on a bi-monthly schedule for the months of April through September. The bid opening will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Lebanon United Methodist Church, 1118 Lebanon Road, Eupora, MS 39744. Sealed bids should be labeled on the outside of the envelope “Cemetery Bid,” and should be mailed to Scott McGarr, 1343 Grady Road, Eupora, MS 39744.
The Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery Committee reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
