Unknown heirs at law of Helen Jean Shaw, all of whom are adult non-residents of the State of Mississippi, or not to be found therein after diligent search and inquiry, and whose street and post office addresses are unknown to petitioner despite diligent search and inquiry in an effort to ascertain the same.
NOTICE TO DEFENDANTS
You have been made respondents in the Plaintiff’s petition to determine heirship.. Respondents other than you are: None.
You are summoned to appear and defend against said complaint or petition at 9:00 o'clock a.m. on the 9th day of January, 2024 in the courtroom of the Choctaw County Courthouse in Ackerman, Mississippi and in case of your failure to appear and defend a judgement will be entered against you for the money or other things demanded in the complaint or petition.
You are not required to file an answer or other pleading but you may do so if you desire.

Notice is hereby given by the Board of Supervisors, Choctaw County, Ackerman, Mississippi, that it will receive sealed bids until the hour of 10:00 A.M., January 2, 2024, for the sale to the county, certain supplies, commodities, goods, and services over a period of 12 months beginning January 2, 2024. Bids must be submitted as term bids according to estimated quantities as follows:
ROAD GRAVEL: 20,000 yards per year, No. 1 or equivalent, free of mud and foreign matter. FOB vendor plant and/or FOB jobsite within Choctaw County Mississippi.
CULVERTS: All sizes of virgin plastic and metal pipe, FOB district barns or work sites, price per foot including delivery cost. Maximum lengths must be quoted in bid.
The Board intends to accept the lowest and best bids but reserves the right to reject any and or all bids. Site and conditions of site for pickup will be stated in quote by bidder. Ease of pickup and stress on county equipment involved in pickup will be considered in total cost of product.

PUBLICATION FOR BIDS TO KEEP COUNTY FUNDS
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 27-105-305 (Chapter 105 Article 3) of the Mississippi code of 1972, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors in and for Choctaw County, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids at the office of the Chancery Court Clerk in and for Choctaw County, Mississippi, at the Choctaw County Courthouse in the Town of Ackerman, Mississippi, until the hour of 9:00 a..m., on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, for a depository for keeping all county funds, or any part thereof, during the calendar year 2024, or for the calendar years 2024/2025, including all funds collected by law. On the day the commission will be available to the bank or banks proposing the best terms and having in view the safety of said funds and the bank or banks selected as depository or depositories for the year, 2024, or for the years 2024/2025, will be required to furnish bond or other securities as required by law. The bid or proposal shall designate the kind of security as authorized by law, which said banks propose to give as security for funds deposited. The bid or proposal should also include in their bid that no service charges, no analysis fees shall be charged on all county accounts, or any other fees which may be considered. The bid shall also include if any accounts are excluded from earning interest quoted.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and or all bids.
