Pursuant to the provisions of Section 27-105-353 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended notice shall be given that the Town of Ackerman, Mississippi, until the hours of 5:00 o’clock p.m., on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, will accept proposals for depositories for the safekeeping of all Town funds, or any part thereof for the period of time beginning January 1, 2024, and ending December 31, 2025, including all funds collected by law. On that day, the Mayor and Board of Alderpersons will be available to the bank or banks proposing the best terms and having in the view of safety of said funds and the bank or banks selected as depository or depositories and will be required to furnish bond or other securities as required by law.
