REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
The Town of French Camp requests proposals (qualifications) from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for work related to a wastewater system improvements project with funding from: Mississippi Municipality & County Water Infrastructure Grant Program in conjunction with the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This Request for Qualifications includes the preparation of cost estimates and project engineering services for the project administration and construction. You are invited to submit a proposal, in accordance with this request to the Town of French Camp, Town Clerk, P.O. Box 27, French Camp, Mississippi 39745-0027 or to the Town Hall, located on Mississippi Highway 413 next to the French Camp Fire Department, no later than 5:30 PM on October 17, 2023.
The Engineer will be responsible for performing all engineering services through project closeout in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations and policies. The scope of work includes but is not limited the following: 1) prepare plans and specifications, 2) distribute bid documents, 3) assist in bid opening and prepare bid tabulation, 4) assist in the execution of construction contracts, 5) hold preconstruction conference, and 6) perform construction inspection including periodic reports to the Town of Artesia and approve all payment requests.

All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked with the following language: "Proposal for MMCWI Engineering Services." Proposals will be evaluated on the following factors: Qualifications, (30 points), Experience (30 points), Capacity for Performance (20 points) and Familiarity (20 points). To be evaluated properly, the following must be addressed in detail:
Qualifications — List of qualifications of person to be assigned to project;
Experience — Information regarding the firm's experience and the projects previously undertaken, including description, funding source, client, and the status of projects;
Capacity for Performance — Identify the number and title of staff assigned to provide services;
Firm's familiarity with and proximity to the geographic location of the projects — Indicate office location where work will be performed.
The Town of French Camp will evaluate each proposal. They may hold proposals for a period of not to exceed thirty (30) days for the purpose of reviewing the content of the proposals and investigating the qualifications of the firms and assigned individuals. The Town of French Camp reserves the right to reject and/or all proposals.
Subject to grant award and the removal of all environmental conditions, the Town of French Camp will award a contract with the qualified individual or firm whose proposal has the highest number of cumulative points issued by the selection committee and determined to be the most advantageous to the Town of French Camp, price and other factors considered. The contract will include scope and extent of work and other essential requirements. An individual contract will be executed for the awarded project and the contract will be on a fixed price basis. The Town of French Camp has the authority to terminate the selection at any time.

OF INVITATION FOR BIDS
FOR HUNTING AND FISHING RIGHTS
Notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of Choctaw County School District that sealed bids will be received by said Board until 10:00 o’clock A.M. on the 4th day of October, 2023, in the Office of the Superintendent of Education of the Choctaw County School District, at Ackerman, Mississippi, for a lease of hunting and fishing rights on the following described Sixteenth Section Public School Trust Lands situated in Choctaw County, Mississippi, to-wit:
Section 16, Township 18, Range 11: 496 Acres
The lease shall be for a term of two and one half (2 1/2) years. The form of the lease has been prescribed by the Board of Education and is now on file in the Office of the Superintendent of Education, and interested parties may inspect the same during regular office hours. A minimum bid of $7.00 per acre has been established.
Bid proposal forms may be obtained from the Office of the Superintendent of Education. Bids shall be submitted for the entire parcel. Only the annual rental shall be subject to bid. A certified check for the amount of the annual rental should be included with the bid when submitted. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the Board of Education of the Choctaw County School District and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope “BID FOR HUNTING AND FISHING LEASE on approximately 496 acres in Section 16 , Township 18, Range 11.”
The Board of Education of Choctaw County School District will meet at Ackerman, Mississippi, on the 12th day of October, 2023, at 5:30 o’clock p.m. and sealed bids received pursuant to this public notice will then and there be opened and read aloud.
The Board of Education of the Choctaw County School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted.
The aforesaid land is being offered for lease under the provisions of Section 29-3-41 of the Mississippi Code Annotated (1972) as amended. Published by order of the Board of Education of the Choctaw County School District.

Whereas, on February 4, 2022, Dylan Mann and Britnie Mann, executed a Deed of Trust to Kasey Young as Trustee for the use and benefit of Jennifer Sims, beneficiary, which said Deed of Trust is of record in Deed of Trust Book 231 at Page 188 in the office of the Chancery Clerk in and for Choctaw County, Mississippi, and
WHEREAS, by instrument dated July 31, 2023, Kevin Null was substituted in the place and stead of Kasey Young as Trustee by instrument executed by Jennifer Sims, said instrument being recorded in Land Deed Book 2023 at page 652, and
