You are summoned to appear and defend against said complaint or petition at 9:00 o'clock a.m. on the 24th day of April, 2024 in the courtroom of the Choctaw County Courthouse in Ackerman, Mississippi and in case of your failure to appear and defend a judgment will be entered against you for the money or other things demanded in the complaint or petition.
You are not required to file an answer or other pleading but you may do so if you desire.

Notice to Bidders
Notice is hereby given to all qualified financial institutions that the school board of the Choctaw County School District, pursuant to the provisions of sections 37-7-333, 27-105-305, and 27-105-315 of the Mississippi code of 1972 amended, shall receive sealed bids for the privilege of keeping the school district funds as follows:
(1) For a period of one-year from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
(2) For a period of two years from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2026.
And thereafter, until new arrangements shall be made according to law.
Said bids shall be received at the Office of the Superintendent, 19 East Main Street, or
mailed to P.O. Box 398, Ackerman, Mississippi, 39735, and received no later than 10:00 am on Friday April 5, 2024, to be considered. Each bid shall be submitted on a separate bid proposal form which may be obtained from the office of the superintendent.
The school board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bids. In order to be considered, each sealed bid shall have "Depository Bid: July 2024" written or typed on the outside face of the envelope or cover.
