The Noxapater Lady Tigers split a pair of softball games this past week, but won the game they needed to.
After dropping a 9-3 game to Starkville in a non-division contest, Noxapater hammered French Camp 12-2 on Tuesday in a Division 6-1A contest.
Noxapater, now 7-4, will return to action this week as they host rival Nanih Waiya on Tuesday and will travel to Ethel on Thursday. On Friday, the Lady Tigers will travel to Eupora for a non-division contest with the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Tigers outhit the Lady Yellowjackets but six walks hurt the Lady Tigers in a six-run loss to Starkville on Monday.
Starkville scored two in the first and three in the third and sixth with one in the fifth. Noxapater scored single runs in the second, fourth and seventh innings.
Noxapater had eight hits in the contest, led by Madelyn Wilkes who was 3-for-3 with a double, home run and two runs scored. Kaitlyn Sanborn was 3-for-3 with a double and one RBI while Yolanda Cooper was 2-for-3 with one run scored.
Lexi Thomas got the start on the mound and pitched four innings and gave up five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four. Madelyn Wilkes pitched the final two innings and gave up four runs on one hit and three walks while striking out two.

The Lady Tigers jumped out to a quick lead and finished off the Lady Panthers in five innings on Tuesday in a key division matchup.
The Lady Tigers scored six runs in the first inning and added three in the fourth and fifth innings to take the win.
Noxapater had 14 hits in the contest as six players had multiple hits. Kaitlyn Sanborn was 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBIs while Nona Wilkes was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Princess Welch was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. Madison Riggs and Morgan Duran were each 2-for-3 with one run scored while Lexi Thomas was 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored. Raleigh Parker walked twice and scored twice.
Lexi Thomas got the start and pitched three innings, giving up two runs on six hits while striking out four. Madelyn Wilkes pitched the final two scoreless innings and gave up three hits while striking out four.
