In the early hours, Thursday, May 27, 2021, Jimmy “Jim” Thomas Martin was called to his heavenly home. Jim was born September 27, 1967, in Eupora, MS, to Linda White Martin and the late Royce Aaron Martin.
Jim attended Cumberland Schools and worked as a farmer. His time spent on Earth was most valued being outdoors and spending time with his friends and family. He loved his family wholeheartedly and passionately. Jim was an incredibly devoted husband, father, and son, and he had the most energetic and fun-loving personality that will live forever in the hearts of his family. Jim’s family adored him more than words could ever say.
Jim’s survivors include wife, Deborah Marshall Martin (Eupora), mother, Linda White Martin (Eupora), son, Justin Holloway (Franklin, TN), daughter, Tenille Holloway (Mathiston), and daughter, Brooke Martin (Eupora).
He is preceded in death by his father, Royce Aaron Martin, paternal grandparents, Armanda and James Martin, and maternal grandparents, O.B. and Evelyn White.
All visitation and funeral services were held at Wise Funeral Home in Eupora, MS. Dr. Wade Stevens officiated services, and Charles McClellan spoke and sang. Saturday, May 29, 2021, visitation was held from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, and the funeral was held at 2:00 PM. Burial services immediately followed at Clarkson Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chad Bishop, Jamie Brown, Thomas Fleming, Kevin Hendrix, Michael Kendall, Hal Lawrence, and Charles McClellan.
Honorary pallbearers were Jodan Boykin, Doug Burgess, Josh Chandler, Eric Gore, Chris Hillhouse, Rob Roberson, and Chris Pepper.
Wise Reed Funeral Home was in charge of all services.
