Please join us for French Camp’s January 9 Historical Highlight Luncheon, 12:00 noon, as Erin Ulerich talks about life in French Camp during World War II and spotlights a few of our local soldiers who took our town motto, “ A small town that makes a difference,” around the globe.
Erin Ulerich loves learning about World War II because of the stories of the people who lived during those years. This was a time in history when darkness threatened to literally take over the world. It was thwarted because people dug their heels in, didn’t stop fighting, and didn’t give up hope. Erin writes about fighting for hope in different areas of life at erinulerich.com.
The February 13 Historical Highlight speaker will be Robert Broomfield. Robert is the son of Bruce & Lynn Broomfield who served on staff at FCA for many years, Robert has discovered some amazing pictures from years gone by and will be doing a pictorial review of French Camp history.
Historical Highlight Luncheons are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at French Camp Presbyterian Church, featuring a speaker who shares some aspect of French Camp’s history and a delicious, home-cooked meal for a $2 donation. The public is invited.
