East Webster High School students performed the play "Disorder in the Court," a zany courtroom comedy, on May 1 for both students and parents.
Students worked for over three months to prepare and present the hourlong play.
The plot surrounded a young girl named Casey Licit (Hillaree Fulgham) who was accused of murder by prosecuting attorney Ms. Scammerton (played by Bekah Cooksey), and represented by defense attorney Ms. Flops (Emma McHann).
The story took a wild ride as Casey was eventually exonerated and the bailiff (played by Ryleigh Walters) was found as the murderer.
Other students participating were seniors Clayton Johnson (the judge), Ann Pawlow (a witness), and a host of other cast and crew members: Andrew Barrow, Carolyn Pawlow, Isabella Hayes, Jason Brock and Kenny Hayes.
The play was directed by EWHS Drama teacher Wendy Brewer.
