Senators Rod Hickman and Jenifer B. Branning on Thursday, February 15, 2024, led the Mississippi Senate’s presentation of Senate Resolution 26 to the Louisville High School Wildcats football team, and Head Coach Tyrone Shorter for winning the 2023 MHSAA Class 4A State Championship - their third overall.
They clenched the championship on December 2, 2023, with a win over Columbia at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, pushing the Wildcats to a 15-0 record on the season.
