If you and your family are looking for something to do during the Fourth of July weekend, there are area events that are sure to bring fun, lights, and fireworks to you family. On Saturday, June 29, the Town of McCool will have its annual celebration in downtown McCool from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. There will be food, craft vendors, and a firework show at dark. For anyone who would like to be a vendor, the fee is $15, and vendors can contact Gay Fancher at 601- 416-8721 or email dpkerr2016@hotmail.co m. This is a free event. And in Sturgis on Saturday, June 29, Highland Oaks will have its All-American Festival and Fireworks Show. There will be live music, food, artisan crafts, fireworks and more. Bring your lawn chairs. Tickets are $20 for an individual, $30 for a couple, $30 for a couple and a kid three and under, and $40 per family. Then, on Wednesday, July 3 the LouisvilleWinston County Chamber of Commerce and Visit Louisville MS will hold its annual Red, White, and Blue Fireworks Show at Lake Tiak O’khata. There will be a red, white, and blue parade at 7:30 p.m. and a firework show will follow at dark. This is a free event.
