Voting in the 2019 November 5th General Election has already begun.
Mississippi Absentee Ballots became available this past Saturday, September 21st. If persons qualify, they can cast their votes now by going to the Winston County Circuit Clerk's office.
Voter registration to vote in the 2019 General Election is still underway, but ends Monday, October 7th, at 5 p.m.
Applicants who register in-person in the Circuit Clerks’ Offices no later than 5 p.m., October 7th and those who mail registration applications post-marked no later than October 7th are eligible to vote in the November General Election.
The In-Person Absentee Voting Deadline is 12 noon, November 2nd. Circuit Clerks’ Offices will be open for Absentee Voting from 8 a.m. to noon.
Absentee Ballots by mail deadline is 5 p.m., November 4th.
Absentee Ballots must actually be received by Clerk’s office. This is not a postmark date.
For Statewide, State District, Legislative, County, County District and School District Offices the General election will be held November 5th. Polling places are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
