Rushaka Dehawn Cobb is in custody, charged with the shooting death of Lee Andrew Hughes, Jr., which took place on Monday, December 23, 2019, at 856 North Court Avenue in Louisville.
An arrest warrant was issued for Cobb on Christmas Eve Day, and he was taken into custody on the Crystal Ridge Choctaw Indian Reservation in Winston County on Christmas Day.
Cobb waived his extradition rights at a hearing in Tribal Court on December 30. He appeared before Louisville Municipal Judge David Wilson at 10:00 a.m. on December 31, at which time Wilson set a $500K bond.
At the time of this writing Cobb is still in custody at the Winston-Choctaw County Regional Correctional Facility.
