It’s time for a ribbon cutting! The Choctaw County Library reopened earlier this month and is ready to celebrate.
Join the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce for a Ribbon Cutting on Friday, June 1 at 5 p.m. This will also be the Library’s Grand Opening featuring free hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, homemade ice cream, kids bouncy slide, live music and more from 5 – 7 p.m.
The newly formed Choctaw County Library System is supported by the Choctaw County Board of Supervisors and managed by the Choctaw County Library System Board of Trustees. The Board of Supervisors and the Board of Trustees reopened the Library on May 7, 2018.

The Choctaw County Library is located at 511 S. Louisville Street, Ackerman (across from the courthouse) and is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Wednesday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Saturday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
