Thousands of people flocked to the 39th Annual Red Hills Festival in downtown Louisville Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27.
“The 39th Annual Red Hills Festival was an outstanding success!,” said Amy Hillyer, Executive Director of the Winston County Chamber of Commerce. “The Friday Night Street Party was fun for all ages and it kicked off the festival weekend. The Red Hills Festival, 5K Run and Car Show had record numbers of vendors, cars and attendees! The day was full of entertainment by local artists who blessed us with their talents. Thank you to all the sponsors who help us to continue to grow the Red Hills Festival each year and thank you to all the people who came out to enjoy the day.”
The festival featured local and area musicians, a 5k and one mile fun run, children activities and a carnival.
The festival kicked off Friday night with a street festival and musical entertainment by Jason Turner and Chad Wesley. The Saturday morning events started with the 5k and one mile fun run.
While thousands of visitors perused items for sale by vendors, they also enjoyed musical entertainment throughout the day.
