A Eupora woman who was reported missing in January had not been located as of this week.
Jodie Fannin was last seen Jan. 16, according to fliers posted around town by her husband, Del Fannin. She was still missing as of Monday, he confirmed to the Progress-Times.
Police Chief Gregg Hunter said Del Fannin filed a missing person’s report Jan. 24. Del Fannin, he said, reported he gave his wife some money to buy a used car but she never returned.
Hunter gave the Fannins’ address as Magnolia Apartments, No. 24, on Waterworks Road. He said they are formerly of the Dayton, Ohio, area and that the Eupora Police Department has been talking to federal authorities in attempts to local the missing woman.
The Facebook page for Mississippi Missing and Unidentified Persons said Jodie Fannin, formerly known as Jodie Conley, was last seen at her apartment. The organization states information on those listed as missing has been gathered from “law enforcement, medical examiners, family and news.”
Del Fannie described his wife as being about 5 feet 7 inches tall with blue eyes and blond hair, and weighing about 175 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call the EPD at 662-258-4121 or Del Fannin at 662-744-4175. The fliers indicate a reward is being offered.
