Choctaw County Library Summer Reading Program 2019 is in full swing and library staff invites all local children to attend.
On June 18th at 2:30pm the Choctaw County Library Summer Reading Program will be hosting Birds of Prey- Freedom Ranch.
There will be live raptors illustrating how their unique adaptations help them survive in the wild.
On June 20th they will be showing the movie Lilo and Stitch at 2:30pm.
On June 21st they will be having Preschool Story Time and Craft at 10am.
June 25th at 2:30 there will be a presentation called Reflections of the Universe- Rainwater Observatory. This presentation focuses on modern space science and art of the heavens.
On June 27th at 2:30pm they will be showing the movie Wall-e.
June 28th at 10 am will be Preschool Story Time and Craft.
July 2nd at 2:30pm will be Paint the Galaxy where the children will get to create their very own galaxies. If attending Paint the Galaxy please wear clothes that can get paint on them.
July 5th at 10am will be Preschool Story Time and Craft.
On July 9th at 2:30 pm The Singing Weatherman – Stormin’ Bob Swanson will be there performing his “Out of this World” astronomy show.
On July 11th at 2:30 pm they will be showing the movie Space Buddies.
July 12th at 10 am will be Preschool Story Time and Craft.
On July 16th at 2:30pm they will be having the Summer Reading Program Finale Party.
Choctaw County Library Summer Hours
During the summer the Choctaw County Library will be open from 9am-6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and they will be open 9am-1pm on Wednesdays. They are located on 511 S. Louisville Street in Ackerman, MS 39735 and you can contact them at 662-285-6348.
