Members of the Noxapater Volunteer Fire Dept. were the first to arrive on scene at a structure fire at 2130 Sims Rd., this past Friday evening.
The call was toned out at approximately 7:30 p.m., and Louisville Fire Dept., Winston County Sheriff’s Dept. and Lifecare EMS also responded.
It was reported that there was no one in the structure at the time of the blaze, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is undetermined, according to Winston SO Fire Investigator, Keith Alexander.
Recreation vehicle catches on fire
Drivers between Louisville and Starkville on Sunday, June 23, witnessed an RV catch on fire.
The RV suffered significant fire damage and after the fire was extinguished the vehicle was towed to Louisville.
Emergency crews from the Louisville Fire Department, Winston County Sheriff’s Office and Betheden Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire.
The cause of the was unknown at press time.
