The East Webster Lady Wolverines split a pair of games this week, beating Houston 10-8 on Tuesday and falling to South Pontotoc 5-0 on Thursday.
East Webster has two games scheduled for this week as they are slated to host Winona in a division contest on Tuesday and will get a rematch with South Pontotoc on Thursday.

Houston 8
East Webster used a trio of three-run innings to take a two-run win over Houston on Tuesday.
Houston scored first with two in the top of the second while East Webster responded with three runs in the bottom of the second. After taking the lead East Webster continued to add to the lead, scoring one in the third and three in the fourth and fifth inning to lead 10-2. Houston made it interesting with three runs in the sixth and seventh innings.
East Webster had 11 hits in the contest as Katelee Box was 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. Sydney Dewberry was 3-for-4 with a double while Lexi Crenshaw was 2-for-3. Abby Williams had a double and drove in two runs. Coy Jennings and Whitney Winter also had hits.
Dewberry got the start on the mound and gave up eight runs on 13 hits and three walks and struck out two.
South Pontotoc 5,
East Webster 0
The Lady Wolverines were shut out on Thursday by South Pontotoc. No other information was available on Thursday’s game.
