The Lady Panthers beat Winona 11-0 on Monday before losing 11-1 to Vardaman on Tuesday. French Camp finished the week with a 10-9 walkoff win over Calhoun City on Friday.
French Camp will return to play on Thursday with a doubleheader against Calhoun City and will then play Noxapater on Friday in a division contest.
French Camp 11, Winona 9
The Lady Panthers built an early lead beheld on to take a two-run win over the Lady Tigers on Monday.
French Camp scored seven in the third and led 8-0 after three.
The Lady Panthers had eight hits and took advantage of five errors. Riley Arrowood was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs while Anna Summers was 2-for-4. Baylee Henderson was 2-for-4 and scored two runs while Rowan Baxter doubled and drove in two runs. Bailey Collins scored twice and had two RBIs while Koleigh Griffin had two RBIs.
Summers pitched all seven innings and gave up all nine runs while striking out eight to get the win.
Vardaman 11, French Camp 1
The Lady Panthers struggled at the plate and dropped a six-inning, run-rule decision to the Lady Rams on Tuesday.
Vardaman scored three in the first and sixth and four in the fourth while French Camp scored its lone run in the fifth.
The Lady Panthers had just two hits, singles by Anna Summers and Rowan Baxter.
Summers pitched 5 2/3 innings, giving up 11 runs on six hits and seven walks while striking out five.
French Camp 10, Calhoun City 9
The Lady Panthers scored on a walk-off error in the bottom of the eighth to take a win over the Lady Wildcats.
Calhoun led 7-1 before French Camp scored three in the third, two in the sixth and tied the game with three in the seventh. French Camp’s Anna Summers then scored on an error to take the win.
French Camp had 10 hits in the contest, led by Baylee Henderson who was 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored. Summers also tripled, scored twice and had two RBIs while Bailey Collins doubled, scored twice and had two RBIs. Aubree Ferguson and Riley Arrowood each doubled for the Lady Panthers.
Summers pitched all eight innings and gave up just five hits and overcame 15 walks while striking out five.
French Camp opened up division play last week against Noxapater.
French Camp 17, Noxapater 8
The Lady Panthers built an early lead and used an eight-run sixth inning to take a nine-run win over the Lady Tigers on Friday
French Camp led 5-1 after the first inning before Noxapater scored three in the second and one in the third to tie the game up. But French Camp answered with two in the third and fourth innings to go up 9-5. After Noxapater scored three to cut the lead to 9-8, French Camp put the game away with eight in the sixth.
French Camp outhit Noxapater 9-3 and the two teams combined for 17 errors. Kayla Collins was 3-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and five RBIs. Anna Summers was 2-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored. Baylee Henderson doubled and scored three runs while Danni Doyle doubled and drove in two runs. Rowan Baxter, Haley Busbea and Sophia Paugh each had two RBIs.
Summers started in the circle and pitched all seven innings to pick up the win, giving up eight unearned runs on just three hits and a walk while striking out five.
