The beautification of downtown Eupora has been enhanced with the planting of shrubs in floral planters.
Teresa Ozborn and Cathy Embry, co-chairs of the Eupora Beautification Committee, assisted by the Eupora Street Department, placed cherry laurel shrubs in planters the morning of April 12.
That afternoon, Beautification Committee volunteers set out heat-tolerant lantana shrubs in the containers.
The committee obtained 10 new planters the week before for a total of 22 located on both sides of North Dunn/Main Street. These people/businesses have volunteered to water the planters:
