The Eupora Rotary Club recognized senior Garrett Braeden as its Student of the Month from East Webster High School on Oct. 23.
He selected Lavelle McAlpin as Teacher of the Month.
Garrett takes advanced placement and dual enrollment classes, and has a 4.0 GPA. At EWHS, he serves as Interact Club president and Student Council vice president, is a member of the Beta Club, Mock Trial/Debate Team and FCA, and plays football.
In addition to his many extracurricular activities, he owns a growing herd of cattle that help teach responsibility.
Garrett plans on earning a bachelor’s degree in animal and dairy science/pre-vet concentration at Mississippi State University.
