The Mississippi State Department of Health will host special pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Choctaw County on August 11-14.
The vaccination clinic will be held at the Choctaw County Community Center in Ackerman. The address is 895 College Street Ackerman, MS.
There is no charge to receive the COVID-19 vaccination at this pop-up clinic.
No appointments necessary. Drop by, or make an appointment at https://covidvaccine.umc.edu.
The pop-up clinic will be available:
-Wednesday, August 11 from 9 am - 3pm
-Thursday, August 12 from 9 am - 3pm
-Friday, August 13 from 9am - noon
-Saturday, August 14 from 9am - noon
Anyone 12 years and older is eligible for vaccination. Pfizer two-dose vaccine, and Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine (for those 18 and over) will be available. No documentation or identification is required. Second vaccine doses will be available in the area three weeks later.
