And Saul yet breathing out threaten and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the High Priest and got warrants to arrest every one who called on Jesus a man or woman to take them to there meeting place in Damascus so he could take them to Jerusalem. But when he got close to Damascus something happen to him, suddenly there shined a light from heaven upon him and he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto him "Saul, Saul why persecuted me?" Saul said, "Who are you Lord?" and the Lord said "I am Jesus the very one you are fighting against. It is hard to kick against this prick. I want you to get up and go on into the city and it will be told you what to do." When he got up he could not see. Those that were with him took him by his hand and carried him into Damascus. He was blind three days. There was a disciple name Aninias who prayed and loved on him. I thank God he has someone to pray for us that we might be saved.

A thought for Today
They took Jesus away, caring His cross, Jesus went out to the place call Skull Hill name is Hebrew is Golgotha. Where they crucified Him, and with Him two others one on each side, Jesus in the middle. Pilate wrote a sign and had it placed on the cross, It read Jesus the Nazarene the King of the Jews. Many of the Jews read the sign because it was near the city. It was written in Hebrew, Latin and Greek. The Jewish High Priest objected, “Don’t write that,” they said to Pilate. “Just write He said he is King of the Jews.” Pilate said, “What I have written, it is written.” Then they crucified Him. The Roman soldiers took His clothes and divided them up four ways to each one. But His robe was seamless a single piece of weaving. So they said to each other, “Let’s not tear it up, let’s throw dice to see who gets it. This confirmed the scripture that said. “They divided up my clothes among them and threw dice for my coat.” The soldiers validated the scriptures. While the soldiers were looking after themselves. Jesus’ mother, his aunt, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdolene stood at the foot of the cross. Jesuse saw his mother and the disciple He loved standing near her. He said to his mother, “Woman, here is your son.” Then to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that moment the disciple accepted her as his own mother and took her to his house.
Thank God for Jesus He made sure his mother was well cared for not only His mother but for you also. Through Him we have everlasting life.
