Five members of the Maben Lions Club recently received special recognition for their multiyear memberships by Lions Club International.
In the accompanying photo are Shawn Nygard, who holds the certificates and attached chevrons to indicate that he and his wife, Larken, have been members of the club for 15 years; Earl Blade, 10-year certificate; Rose Graham, 10-year certificate; and Ed James, who has been a member for 15 years.
All of the pictured members hold important jobs in the club: Shawn is vice president, Earl is the Lion tamer, Rose serves as president and Ed is the treasurer.
The Maben Lions Club congratulates each of these recipients on the receiving of these multiyear awards.
