Parental engagement is an excellent benefit in the education of children. When children know that education is a priority to their parents, it makes a difference in the child’s attitude toward school. Multiple studies prove that students whose parents are actively engaged in their schooling, typically shows the following: higher grades, higher test scores, greater social skill, better reported behavior, easier adaptation to school, and greater likelihood of continuing into post-graduation.
The Family Center would like to encourage all parents, guardians, and participants to do the following listed below:
•Attend Parent-Teacher Conferences
•Visit the schools and its website

•Send your child to school ready to learn
