At their regular meeting held on Monday, November 15, the Choctaw County Board of Supervisors dealt with the following matters which all received unanimous voted:
•Recognized a letter for Kenny Wilcher of the Solid Waste Department dealing with Kenneth Talley who walked off the job and turned in his uniforms. The Board voted to terminate Talley.
•Voted to advertise an open position in the Solid Waste Department at a starting rate of $11.50/hr.
•Voted to authorize the advertisement of yearly bids and keeping of funds.
•Voted to set the pay of Larry Alexander to $16.00/hr.
•Voted to approve travel and expenses of the Election Commissioner for ECAM in January.
•Voted to approve the claims docket in the amount of $30K.
