This Saturday, November 13, the Town of Noxapater will be bustling with people.
Make plans now to be a part of Noxapater Day and the 1st Annual Trigger Town Chili Showdown. Chili teams will be setting up, cooking and getting ready to serve their delicious chilis all morning, and you can spend some time shopping with the fine merchants in downtown. At noon, serving will begin.
For $5, you can purchase a spoon for tasting and a drink. Using the spoon, patrons can go through and taste each team’s chili. Each patron will also have the opportunity to vote for best overall chili and for the best decorated and/or costumed chili team. From “Chili Ray Cyrus” to the “Red Hot Chili Preppers,” and from “The Firemen” to the “Coaches Crew,” you’re sure to find a team and chili that suits your fancy! Who will take home bragging rights, trophies and the cash prize? Will it be the Market Girls with Abilene White Chili, Trigger Town Farms with Chuck Wagon Chili, Gangster Chili, Small Town Special, or one of the others? Come be a part of the fun of Saturday and cast your vote.
