Natalie King, the 15 year old from Byhalia, Mississippi, was crowned National Little Britches Rodeo Queen during the national finals rodeo held in Guthrie, Oklahoma in July. Natalie is the daughter of Drs. Darryl and Amy King, and the granddaughter of Freddie and Celeste King of Weir, Mississippi. She is the niece of Kenny and Kathy King, Tommy King, Cathy & JB Edwards; and Joey and Stephanie King of Mathiston.
Natalie, a high school sophomore, has been riding horses and competing in rodeo since she was very young. She competes in the NLBRA in barrel racing, breakaway roping, goat tying, ribbon roping, and team roping. Natalie has teamed up with LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee to help make a child’s day brighter by donating horse, rodeo, and farm related coloring books.
Persons can join Natalie by purchasing books to be donated from her custom gift registry found on Amazon. From September 1 to October 15, under the gift registries heading, search “NLBRA” or “Natalie King” and select coloring books for the kids at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. The books you choose from the gift registry will be delivered to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital the first of November. Natalie would appreciate your help in sharing her love of rodeo with these children and their families.
