Aided and abetted by Ms. Mary Boutwell and Ms. Chris Ross, Ms. Dottie Dewberry waved her magic wand and spread the joy of the season all over the walls, cabinets, windows and doors at the Maben Public Library.
A fun time was had unloading, toting, unboxing and trying to figure where every Santa Claus, snowman, truck, redbird and decorator boxes was to be placed.
The motif is featuring redbirds, snowmen and trucks; highlighting red, white and green – Christmas colors. This year the group accented each display area with magnolia leaves.
In addition to the indoor decorations, Amy Rowland and Ms. Dottie staked two sets of metal Christmas trees for extra beautification. Ms. Mary also has on display a nativity scene.
The public is invited to come view the new Christmas décor. The library is open four days per week from 8:30 a.m. nil 4:30 p.m., closing from 11:30 a.m. to noon for lunch.
The public is invited to come avail themselves of the offerings of the library: free Wi-Fi, computers, copy service, fax service, DVDs, audiobooks and paperbacks. The genealogy cabinets are available for history buffs. Some books can be ordered in large print. The latest in New York Times Bestsellers are always up front at the checkout desk.
Besides the best in service, friendly staff and patronage; our library is neat and clean with available facilities.
