Nov. 13 is Eupora’s “Shop Local” event with businesses around the town holding Christmas open house.
The second annual Merry Eupora Christmas, a Shop Local Event, will begin at 10 a.m. on Eupora’s Main Street and all surrounding businesses throughout the city. Local stores will be holding their annual Christmas open houses with door prizes, special deals and unique buying opportunities.
Along with the open houses, a Christmas Market will be located down the center of Main Street (North Dunn) to attract additional shoppers.Vendors will be set up with a wide variety of wares from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. A special kids park will be in the Depot Park and parking lot adjacent to Main Street.
Festival organizers hope the event is as successful as last year’s event.
“More than 250 people registered for door prizes and shopped around town during last year’s event,” Lyn Blaylock stated. “We hope even more shoppers come to Eupora this year as we have additional activities and events planned.”
The Eupora Main Street Association and its members will be on hand to answer questions and direct buyers to all local participants and restaurants.
