Community Wide Public Service Trunk or Treat to be held
The City of Louisville’s Community Wide Public Service Trunk or Treat will be held from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Saturday, October 30 at the Louisville Coliseum located at 201 Ivy Avenue. This is a safe alternative to trick or treating door to door. This event also allows children to interact with many of the various public service agencies such as fire departments, law enforcement, EMS, and many more. This event is being held for children 13 years of age and younger. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The 7th Annual Pink Celebration
October 23rd
Come join us at Louisville Coliseum on Saturday October 23, 2021 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm as we celebrate and honor all those affected with breast cancer. To show your support, decorate your vehicle in pink & white; Dress in pink & white; Wear your cancer awareness T-shirt if you have one! To ensure safety of all participants and guests, everyone will remain in their cars for the short program. Ducks Unlimited Gun Bash to be held
Ducks Unlimited will be sponsoring a gun bash to be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, October 21 at Pine Ridge Lodge at Lake Tiak-O’Khata. There will be 20 guns given away. Individual tickets are $60 and couple’s tickets are $85. There will be raffles, cards, a draw down, and an auction. New Educational State Prayer Breakfast
The New Educational State Convention of Mississippi Woman's Auxiliary Virtual State Prayer Breakfast will be Saturday, November 6. The time is 9:30 A.M. Fires workshop set
The Greensboro Youth Group will host a fire safety workshop on Tuesday, October 26th, 5pm, at the former site of Greensboro CME Church, 2329 Metts Street, Louisville, MS. The city of Louisville Fire Department personnel will offer fire safety tips. We are extending an invitation for you to bring your entire family and learn how to prevent home fires. West Ten Salon in Noxapater to host ribbon cutting
West Ten Salon in Noxapater will host their ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., Friday, October 22. West Ten Salon is owned by Anna Nicole Thomas and it is located on Main Street in Noxapater.
Trunk or treat set
Noxapater United Methodist Church is hosting a trunk or treat for children in the area on Thursday, October 28 from 5-7 pm. Area children are invited to join us for trick or treating. Free hot dogs will be served. The church is located at 218 East Main Street in Noxapater.
Author event at library
The Winston County Library will be hosting an author event on Saturday, November 6th from 1-4pm for Louisville native David Sangster. He will talk about his newest books, Before You Say I Do, and Who's Fooling Who?
Copies of each book will be for sale during the event.
