There is no charge to join 4-H. All children and youth ages 5-18, parents/guardians, are invited to attend. Due to increasing Covid numbers, you may call Choctaw County Extension Office at 285-6337 the day before the event to make sure it is still being held.
4-H Shooting Sports program
Certified Volunteers are needed for our Choctaw County 4-H Shooting Sports program. Adults 21 and older should complete an online background screening, complete an application and, once approved, attend the 4-H Shooting Sports training Saturday, October 23 in West Point. We need air rifle, .22 rifle and archery instructors. Because it will take a couple of weeks to complete the application process, you are encouraged to begin that process as quickly as possible. You will not be able to attend the October training until MSU approves you as a certified volunteer.
For more information and link to the online background screening, contact Juli Hughes at 285-6337 or email j.hughes@msstate.edu.

As soon as the virus is stabilized, we will resume plans to host the CCHSAA reunion. In addition, we ask that you keep your registration fees in place until the decision is made to convene our beloved reunion. However, if unforeseen circumstances occur; you may request a refund by contacting Mrs. Rachel Ashford at 662-614-0873.
